About Me
As a licensed psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of patients with a variety of psychiatric and neurological disorders such as dementia, stroke, traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, ADHD, multiple sclerosis, seizure disorders, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia among others.
Dr. Martinez conducts neuropsychological evaluations for Spanish and English speakers to aid in the diagnosis of various neurological complaints including memory disorders, learning/academic problems, and ADHD.

Dr. Martinez earned her doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D.) at Nova Southeastern University in 2005 specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology

She completed her internship at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital and her fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center as part of the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Postdoctoral Psychology Program

Dr. Martinez was a clinical supervisor for interns and post-doctoral trainees at Citrus Health Network in Hialeah as well as extern students at Carlos Albizu University. She also taught various courses as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Psychology department at Barry University in Miami Shores. She continues to work as a consulting psychologist at Memorial Regional Hospital
